What is GISH?

GISH is the creative endeavour of the international actor Misha Collins, star of the hit TV show Supernatural. GISH was developed through the evolution of the Greatest International Scavenger Hunt the World Has Ever Seen, holder of 7 world records and is the combination of individual ongoing challenges coordinated through the GISH app and a week-long scavenger event on a global scale. It is designed to wake the world up with fun; completing hilarious, artistic and kind tasks, helping local communities and benefiting charity.

On July 27th 2019 teams of fifteen Gishers from across the world will come together. The list of items is revealed worldwide simultaneously and everyone works collaboratively in order to complete; record (via photo or video) and submit as many items as they possibly before the one week deadline. Following the hunt each submission is judged and awarded points and out of the hundreds or participating teams there is one winning team.

The list of items is meant to incite silliness, create extraordinary art and push people beyond their personal boundaries but there is so much more to GISH than this. It is a huge and generous charity event; raising substantial sums of money for the Random Acts charity through our participation fees and crowdfunding. We change lives globally and locally providing donations to the poor, the homeless, the elderly and to animal shelters. Over the years we have donated our blood and hair, given thanks to our service personnel and cleaned up our communities. These actions continue when the cameras are not on us because the GISH community aims to make a positive difference in the world.

Taking part in GISH is much more than the aim to win, we intend to change the world one step at a time. Will you help us?
